Resources Chair:

Description:
Individual or Committee shall maintain a list of Debtors Anonymous members who are available to serve on SCDA Committees, speak at Group meetings, serves as sponsors or on Pressure Relief Groups, communicate with non-English speakers, or provide other resources to SCDA and Groups. Committee to be chaired by a Service Board member other than an Officer

Requirements:
Knowledge of Excel/Google sheets, Six months not debting, 2 prgs, has a sponsor, working/has worked steps.

PARLIMENTARIAN (this is an unpaid Special Worker position)

Description:
A parliamentarian shall be present at Intergroup and Service Board meetings. Provide clarity on motions and proceedings
Requirements:
Must be well versed in Robert’s Rules of Order. the authority governing Intergroup and Service Board proceedings, except when in conflict with Traditions of Debtors Anonymous or the Bylaws.

Parliamentarian shall be appointed by Chairperson and need not be member of Debtors Anonymous. But DA recovery is a plus!

AT LARGE PERSON

Description:
-Attends all Service Board and Intergroup meetings
-Timer for all reports and meeting as a whole
-Gives Verbal reminders to keep meeting from going over on time

Requirements:
Six months not debting, 2 prgs, has a sponsor, working/has worked steps.

MEETING LIASON

-Update meeting changes in Google Sheets for publication.
-Conduct email communications between the service board and intergroup reps and maintain a contact list.
-Greet new Intergroup Reps at Intergroup Meeting – Give Welcome pamphlet.
-Attend board/intergroup monthly meetings
Requirements: Knowledge of Google Sheets and good Communication skills.
-Six months not debting, 2 prgs, has a sponsor, working/has worked steps.
